Medrea's sculpture is characterized by vigorous modeling and clarity of form, by a classical beauty filtered through modern sensibility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, he influenced entire generations of artists, being recognized for his exacting standards and devotion to art.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, Corneliu Medrea is considered an emblematic figure of Romanian sculpture, an artist of balance and harmony, who managed to express through bronze, marble, and stone the strength and dignity of the human spirit.
