He began his art studies in Budapest, after which, between 1879 and 1883, he was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. From 1895, he worked as a set and costume designer for the Hungarian Royal Opera and the National Theatre in Budapest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn 1926, Műcsarnok organized a memorial exhibition of the painter, after which two of his paintings were included in the Hungarian National Gallery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eKéméndy Jenő mainly painted miniature pictures. That is why \u003cem\u003eSpring Morning\u003c\/em\u003e, created around 1900, with dimensions of 74x59 cm, is a rarity in the painter's oeuvre.
