Radu Comsa

Radu Comșa (b. 1974, Sibiu) is a contemporary Romanian visual artist known for an artistic practice that explores the boundaries between painting, object, installation, and textile, through a rigorous conceptual and aesthetically refined approach. Trained at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Comșa is part of the emerging Cluj scene that has brought international visibility to contemporary Romanian art.
His works combine formal minimalism with a profound exploration of materiality and structure. Drawn to how surfaces and volumes transform in space, Comșa creates compositions where color, texture, and rhythm become subtle narrative elements.
