



Neo-Classical fireplace clock, bronze and marble, decorated with the figure of Plato, 19th century
Vintage mantel clock (late 19th century), decorative piece with a figurative composition of the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, depicted in the act of writing (with desk accessories – instrument holder). The clock case is integrated into the ensemble, with discreet ornamentation and a golden frame.
The base is made of black marble decorated with green marble panels (natural veining), providing weight and stability. Enamelled dial with stylized Arabic numerals and cut-out hands. Mechanical movement with two winders (timekeeping + striking), striking on a bell.
