Obverse description: Circular legend along the edge, interrupted twice. In the center, Christ Pantocrator depicted frontally, seated on a high-backed throne, adorned with pearls. Christ has a cruciform nimbus, pallium, and colobium, holding a book in his left hand and blessing with his right hand. All within a double beaded circle.

Reverse description: Constantine X Doukas, depicted standing, frontal, bearded, wearing a diadem with pendilia, saccos, and loros, holding a labarum in his right hand and a globus cruciger in his left hand. Double outer beaded circle.
